I love you dad, and will miss you like noone can imagine.

It doesn't feel right to be talking about my dad in the past tense. One of the greatest characteristics about him was that he was always so full of life!

I loved, idolised and was proud of my dad, and during the recent years in which I've grown up and matured, we became very close - partaking in many post 3am drinking sessions, which seem to be synonymous with the name Denis Beardmore.

There are so many parts of my life I always expected my dad to see, which he tragically will not. He was very proud of me getting onto my course at university, and I was looking forward to making him proud at my graduation.

Being so famous for weddings, I always expected him to be in attendance at mine... when/if I ever decide to follow in his marital footsteps (granted, I may not do it 4 times over...).

Dad had a way of making everyone remember him, and I look forward to reading about his life on this website. Hopefully some interesting stories will surface!

I'd like to take this oppertunity to thank my dad for the near 20 years he contributed to my life, and I hope I can still make him proud.

I love you dad, and will miss you like noone can imagine.
